My Second City Conservatory (http://www NULL.secondcity NULL.com/training/hollywood/) Graduate show, This Is Why Mommy Drinks, opened Friday, September 11, 2009 to a packed house. I happen to have written a sketch about an airplane crash and we performed it on 9/11. I’m sure that’s not bad luck.
Anyway, the show is a little over an hour of sketch comedy (developed through improv Second City-style) about pirates, sexbots, murder, health care, bats, etc., and it includes an epic musical number called “Sometimes It’s Okay To Kill” in which I sing a solo.
You can see it the Fridays at 8pm through October 23, 2009 at The Second City Studio Theatre (http://secondcity NULL.com/training/hollywood/generalinfo/contactus/) in Hollywood. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door (cash only) or www.etix.com (http://www NULL.etix NULL.com/)
